Dialogue scenes

A Dialogue card can act as a scene container (multiple lines, inner canvas) or a single line (text directly on the card).

Scene card

  • Label: scene name (e.g. “Lab — DNA analysis”).
  • Characters: who appears — pick from entities.
  • Edit lines and branches: opens the inner canvas.

On the inner canvas, each dialogue line is its own card:

  • Speaker (entity + label)
  • Text (content)
  • Voice-over: audio asset or planned filename
  • Direction: tone, pace (exported as “Direction”)

Lines can be linked with edges (branch left to right).

Adding a new line

On a selected line card:

  • Add reply — new line at the end of the chain, suggested alternate speaker.
  • If no speaker is set: picker panel opens.

Dialogue copilot (AI)

The card toolbar wand icon:

  • Generate new text in scene context
  • Shorten, refine, or adjust tone of existing lines
  • Translate EN ↔ HU

Settings → AI: which model powers the copilot.

Export / import

All project dialogue can be exported for voice actors or TTS — see Dialogue scripts.

On import, lines land in a single connected chain on the current flow chart, in a zig-zag layout.

Tips

  1. Create character entities first (Entities view).
  2. The character ID field (entity sheet) maps to the CSV Character ID column — reliable on import.
  3. The scene character list helps the copilot and portrait display.
